Last week my daughter celebrated her 14th birthday much like she does every year, with a bouquet of Valentine’s Day flowers! Like most people who celebrate a birthday near a holiday, Valentine’s-themed decorations and gifts have become a tradition that we all look forward to. When you think of that holiday, you think of that person. I think it is sweet.

Special Note: Do you see how glossy my flowers are? This picture was taken seconds after our arrangement arrived. My local florist delivered them personally, provided me with instructions for longevity and care, and sprayed them lightly with whatever this glossy stuff is (I’m guessing it is a baby oil substance, I don’t know exactly – but it didn’t hurt the flowers in anyway.) For about an hour after the flowers were delivered they looked like they had been picked that morning from a field of flowers, and still had morning dew on it! I loved it! I have no idea if this is something that all Teleflora florists will do, but my florist rocked this delivery! ~ Victoria
