Montage Photo Books #Review

February 10, 2016 by Pam Maynard

Disclosure.New.3

Montage is a term we typically associate with people (normally several girls) in the movies where they try on clothes with fun music playing.

I’d like to give you a new definition to associate with the word, Montage. It has to do with your photos, arranged and printed in book form. Montage is an online customizable photobook tool, from Mixbook, and one of many of customizable photobook options provided by Mixbook.

If you’re anything like me, you take TONS of pictures, uploading some to social networking sites. If you want to show someone a certain photo, you have to find the site, wait on it to load and then you can show it off. But, with Montage, you upload your photos, and they send you a book with all of them in it, beautifully laid out and printed in a bound lay-flat book.

I recently took a trip back to my hometown and spent a few days. Of course, while my family was there, I took way too many pictures, but how else am I going to remember all of those fun times with my nieces and nephew? In the past, I’ve printed out the photos, but they are in a room, tucked away with all my other photos, sitting in my hope chest. Never doing anything with them is just not an option, but they keep getting put to the side.

I went on montage.com and uploaded all my pictures from our trip. The site automatically formatted them, laid them out, and the only thing I had to do was hit the print button. So EASY! I wish I had a larger screen on my computer, otherwise, I’d seen a few blurry pictures that were printed in the books, but that is totally my fault. I should have looked closer at the pictures. My advice to anyone making books, take your photos and put them in a temporary folder on your computer, so you know exactly which ones to use.

The first book was so easy, I made a smaller book of our January 2016. It’s so cute and looks amazing. The front cover has a collage of some of the photos in the book and you can add whatever text you want. With Montage, it’s so easy to make photo books, why wouldn’t anyone want to? They would also make a great gift for someone.

Check out MontageBook online.  You can make your own books and see how easy it is to have your memories in your hand, in a beautiful book, preserved forever.
