Brackitz is a new building block line of toys that allows children to make incredible structures. Brackitz is great for toddlers and helps teach engineering in a fun way.
Brackitz are available in four set sizes–Inventor, Creator, Architect, and Master. Each set includes wooden blocks that flat rectangles and two different connectors in four different colors blue, orange, red, and green. Brackitz are simple enough for toddlers to gain a grasp of. It’s easy to quickly build small things, like a box or even a town. My toddler jumped right into the mix of things and was trying to build some interesting honeycomb like structure. Getting the connectors on might require a little assistance, after a while I would think it will become easier.
My son loves to get up and dump the box out and get to erecting his latest creation. He loves to have his friends over and Brackitz has taken the place of many of his favorite toys. I love that as he plays he’s learning complicated engineering tasks like weight distribution and how different angels offer other advantages. The best part is while he’s doing this it’s completely natural for him, he has no idea he is learning.
These will be perfect for any science fair project that requires structural engineering such as building a bridge that can support books. Anything you can think of to build is possible. Overall I love them because they are easy to clean up and after hours of fun for toddlers on up. We even had a family night build off to see who could build the coolest contraption, mine was a deer. I loved playing with my son and any chance to teach is always a plus.
