Pinblocks Building Toys! #Review #MDRChristmas15

My children love to build with blocks.  They have several different types, but seem to always want more.  I saw Pinblocks and I knew they would love it. Pinblocks are not limited to flat, linear shapes, allowing children’s imaginations freedom to build anything they could think of!

 PinBlocks are a new building block set.  They are the ultimate building block set, great for kids and adults.  These simply designed blocks are made out of a flexible plastic with long prongs.  Every single pinblock is the same shape — no more hunting all day for just the right shaped piece.  Since they are flexible, it allows you to create things most block shapes can’t.  You can make wearable creations like a watch, a crown, a helmet, or an entire super hero suit. The two rounded pins on the top of each pinblock allow for the creations to have near a 360 degree rotation.  

With the same blocks you can create buildings, planes, vehicles, and more.  Possibly a small plane or an huge city to fill up your room.  The choice of what to make is up to the builder, since all the blocks are the same shape.  

Pinblocks come in 20 different colors and can create a flat canvas when laid out in one layer.  Using the colors the child or adult is able to create awesome pixel art.  Again it is only limited to the imagination.

Mom’s Thoughts 

 I received the Blue Fusion Jet set.  It came with an instruction book on step by step tasks to create the jet.  It also had some variations to make different vehicles in the book. 

 

The jet was very cool to look at and I wanted to make it, but personally I am a freestyle creator.  I do not like to follow the rules and make a set thing.  My eldest son is the opposite.  He only makes what the book says and then he is done.  That is a great thing about owning Pinblocks, you can do whatever you want. 

 

Pinblocks offer tutorials online to make some cool things.  I made a watch following the online tutorials.  It was easy to follow and fun to be able to put it on and wear it.  I also toyed around with some other creations.  After I put them up I kept thinking of things I could make.  I think I will try to make an ice princess crown with my daughter next. The possibilities with Pinblocks are truly endless.
