My little girl is adorable in almost anything, but for her birthday we wanted her to look extra Lalaloopsy special! My teen daughter found plain clothing — already in Baby Girl’s closet — and upcycled them into a beautiful Lalaloopsy Birthday outfit! See what she did in the photos below.
As you can tell, we had the hardest time trying to decide how to arrange buttons onto Baby Girl’s shirt. We finally opted to use two button sizes to trim the collar of her shirt for a festive look. Which button layout would you have chosen?
DIY Lalaloopsy Birthday Party Shirt
Supplies:
- Plain t-shirt (long or short sleeve)
- Decorative buttons
- Pencil
- Sewing needle
- Thread
Begin by laying your shirt on a flat surface and arranging your buttons. Once you have chosen your desired layout, mark button holes with your pencil/chalk/sewing pen.
Hand sew buttons into place.
