Here are a few tips to be able to use the Tropic Spa Tanning System at home more efficiently:
♥ Their first tanning tip would be to watch their YouTube videos several times. They do include the video on a DVD when you purchase the system for your convenience. However, you can also go on YouTube and watch it there as well.
♥ Wear a pair of the gloves when loading the cans. Loading the cans take a little bit of practice. You have to make sure they are in the machine FIRMLY. PUSH the can down and then make sure they are in the slot so that they don’t move except to spin slightly. That part can be tricky to master but once you do its not hard. Use gloves anytime you are handling the spray. You never know when that spray is going to go off in your palm. You will want to make sure that the spray doesn’t stay on palms and bottoms of feet, where you do not want it…which leads to the next point…
♥ Have a few baby wipes on hand, in case you want to wipe your palms or around the edge of your feet. This is a great way to get rid of any over-spray. Hands and feet are always the hardest part to get right when spray tanning because you don’t want to put too much solution on them as they may color too much or not enough. You want to make sure to cover them with the gloves that are provided.
♥ Try to rub in the mist immediately and evenly right after the last beep. You want to rub the mist in just like you’re putting lotion on evenly. Use a circular motion and use the touchup can of spray that is provided with the kit.
♥ Most important tip! Practice once or twice, especially if you are going to tan for a special event. The more you use the system, the better you will get at it.
