The JetPack Backpack:
Our new JetPack Backpack is specifically designed to transport everything you need for your busy day, including your PlanetBox®! Recommended for children over 8 years old – it’s big! – 13 in (L) x 12.5 in (W) x 17 in (H). Features include:
- An exclusive docking station for storing your PlanetBox® flat. This unique, zippered compartment on the bottom of the JetPack makes your lunch easily accessible
- A roomy main compartment for storing books, binders and other large items.
- Multiple zippered pockets for organizing pencils, pens, and other small items
- Hidden zipper pocket to stash your phone or a wallet
- Two side pockets for your water bottle (perfectly fits our BottleRocket)
A special thank you to PlanetBox for sending us this JetPack Backpack! It was used as part of Project Backpack 2015 in our hometown of Alton, New Hampshire.
Size: The JetPack is recommended for children over 8 years old – it’s big! – 13 in (L) x 12.5 in (W) x 17 in (H). The bottom is wide to hold a PlanetBox lunchbox.
Weight: The JetPack is medium weight at 2 pounds.
Zippers: The pulls and zippers slide easily and are well made.
Number of pockets: The JetPack has LOTS of pockets- The JetPack has 2 side water bottle pockets, 2 front zippered pockets, a hidden cell phone pocket, the main compartment and the unique bottom zipper pocket for your PlanetBox. The pockets are conveniently positioned and well thought out.
Straps: The straps are well-padded and comfortable. The bag is designed to carry 25 pounds and the straps can certainly handle that much weight and more.
What is unique about this Backpack?
This JetPack is very unique- mainly due to the bottom compartment that fits your PlanetBox lunchbox. No other backpack can claim that.
The materials used in the JetPack bag are made out of recycled fibers derived from plastic bottles, spun into an easy to wash and clean 600D recycled Polyester fabric. The products are independently certified to be safe from lead, phthalates and BPA.
