With Halloween coming up, this first one is my favorite!
Trunk or Treat events are coordinated within groups, churches, or communities as a trick or treating alternative. It provides children with all the fun associated with trick-or-treating, in a controlled environment instead. Truck or Treat participants open their trunk and decorate the back end of their vehicle to suit the theme of the event (think outdoor/party Halloween decorating — on your car). Once all of the vehicles are parked and decorated, children walk from car to car “trunk or treating” for candy. The entire event can be as short as an hour, or last for an evening.
