Pennsylvania claims 400 miles of “one of America’s most scenic drives” (a honor given to Route 6 by National Geographic). No matter where you are in the state, driving this beautiful route in your Jaguar is something that should be on your bucket list — but don’t let it sit there for long! Fall is a wonderful time to drive Route 6 while the leaves are changing. Can you imagine how beautiful the fall colors are looking out from Kinzua Bridge? That view alone is worth the drive!
Here is One of the Five Reasons to Drive Route 6
Waterfront views. Allegheny Reservoir, Susquehanna River, Shohola Marsh Reservoir, Lake Wallenpaupack, Greeley Lake, Delaware River, and more can all be found along the route! Route 6 touches several creeks, ponds, small rivers and big rivers. No matter which direction you decide to go, you are going to cross a river or touch a lake at some point. Each one is an opportunity to capture natural photography or enjoy peaceful moments along the water.
