Does your family driver (dad, mom, grandparent) have difficulty staying awake while driving? I don’t sleep in the car while my husband is driving because he needs conversation to keep him awake and alert. Crafting is an activity I do to make sure I stay awake in the passenger seat.
The following is one craft on my list of my five favorite crafts adults and teens can do in the car. Have everyone select a craft they like to make your car trip fun for everyone.
Origami
Origami can be learned in the car by utilizing lap boards and paper organizers. Additional tools that may make your trip more successful are folding bones and a handheld paper cutter (not to be confused with scissors). You may also want to bring along an empty box to store your completed work in safely.
