What father doesn’t like to look like a super hero in front of their kids? That happens when you spend time together learning new things and having fun with Cooper & Kid.

Cooper and Kid is company that has set out to help make every dad an awesome dad. They send themed kits once every three months that is packed full of projects and memory making activity ideas.

When I received my first box I was more excited than the kids. The package design is amazing. I knew right away from the cool super hero-inspired wrapping paper that I was going to have a great time with my kids.

After removing the super-cool wrapping, the kids and I quickly started to pull the items out of the box. (I couldn’t keep them away -it was like Christmas at my house!) After getting excited about the projects, I opened the directions to see where to start.

Wait, are these directions or a comic/science book?

If all directions came this way, we might actually start to follow them- HA!

The directions are in the form of a book that reminds me of a cross between a comic book, and science fair idea book. The directions are set up in sections so you can complete everything in a day, a weekend, or spread it out all month long. Each section also includes fun facts relating to the activity theme.

I started the first project by reading a story from the corresponding comic book with Maxaiom the Super Scientist. (My comic book is titled “The Illuminating World Of Light!”) Maxaiom teaches the science found in everyday life, and how these things work. Day by day we completed each section. I was so happy to see the kids so excited to spend quality time with me learning. It was so much fun, I don’t think they knew that they were actually learning too!
