Does your husband get cranky when you aren’t home for dinner? My father-in-law is one of those guys, and cranky probably isn’t the word to describe it. His behavior can go from manly man to childish really fast if dinner isn’t greeting him after a long day at work and a lengthly commute home. I am thankful that my husband doesn’t get cranky over cooking his own dinner. Sometimes I think he secretly enjoys it. It means he gets to splurge on something for him – just for him – that he doesn’t have to share. What parent doesn’t want something for themselves every now and then?

Once we made it home, my husband was already asking to prepare one.
“Wait, these are for your dinner when we [wife and kids] aren’t home…..”
It was really easy for him to make 6 minutes, stir, 1 minute more, and allow to cool for a minute or so. You can’t get any easier than this! While he waited he was able to pull together a quick side salad and grab a tortilla.
