Kitchen Wizard: 6 Items to Make Your Cooking a Breeze

April 21, 2015 by Pam Maynard

When cooking various meals in the kitchen, it can be easy to spend a few hours preparing a single meal due to the amount of work involved. From cutting veggies to flavoring the meat, there are a number of steps required for even the most basic dishes. To cut back on the work and energy that is required, here are a few items to use to make cooking a breeze and enjoyable again.

1. Garlic Zoom

Instead of trying to mince small pieces of garlic cloves and have a long-lasting smell on your hands, the garlic zoom makes it easy to put the ingredient in the device and roll it on the counter for an easy method of slicing and dicing the food.

2. Salad Spinner

Instead of struggling to dry off soaking wet lettuce that you want to use in a salad or as a topping on hamburgers, opt for using a salad spinner. The device is easy to use and will remove all moisture from the lettuce in seconds.

3. Roast Pans

Universal roast pans from places like iPinium USA make it easy to cook everything from lasagna to chicken legs without using a number of different pans. It works to reduce the amount of clutter in the kitchen cupboards and can even be thrown into the dishwasher for an easy way to clean up.

4. Slip Mats

Instead of worrying about having gooey cookies or french fries that are undercooked, slip mats allow food to bake and have a crisp texture when the rubber product is placed on cookie sheets. It also makes the cleanup process a breeze without having to wash the pan.

5. Mandolin

Instead of spending an hour cutting up tiny vegetables and having to watch out for your fingers, a mandolin will do the dirty work by creating even slices with the veggies. It also creates a professional look with each uniform slice that is produced.

6. Cutting and Serving Board

When cutting veggies or fruit, it’s easy to run out of room on the cutting board. With a cutting and serving board, drawers are available underneath the wood material to store the diced items while cutting up more food for an easy storage option.

To enjoy cooking and make for an easier process, there are a number of different tools to use to become a kitchen wizard. With the right gadgets on hand, it will prevent having too many steps involved and losing your mind over a simple meal.
