Meet Yuan Yin. She is the co-founder of a woman-led startup company called SuperHealos. Their company creates empowering products for children all geared to help them face life’s toughest challenges in ways they can understand. The awesome SuperHealos capes, stories & poetry will put a smile on your face and an infusion of inspiration in your heart. They have a new Kickstarter campaign “SuperHealos to the Rescue!” to help them reach our goal of empowering children across the country and the globe!
I work at our local hospital and I see children everyday who face things no one should ever have to face. Some can be brave and strong, but I know SuperHealos would make more children brave and make their life so much easier. I know parents would love anything to lessen the fear and uncertainty of their children’s lives. Keeping a smile on your face- being positive has been shown to help critical patients recover faster. If a book or cape can do that for a child and their family, then I can’t wait to see them in action.

About SuperHealos
Every day, millions of children and their families face life’s toughest challenges like illness or death of a loved one. Advances in medicine and technology are often featured in the news and rightfully attract the brightest resources from around the world. However, medicine and technology cannot be the only responses to difficulties like these. The people affected by a serious diagnosis or other life changing event need emotional support, a sense of community, information about their situation, and sometimes, children just need to get to be children.
SuperHealos is a social enterprise dedicated to empowering children and their families facing life’s toughest challenges like illness, grieving, and social issues. With a focus on imagination and play, SuperHealos provides children with age appropriate stories, products, and information to help them bridge the gap between sickness and recovery, loss and acceptance, fear and courage.
