My oldest two children used to play every sport imaginable. My husband and I were even their coaches. All of that changed when we made the decision for me to stay home with our children fulltime. We had to make cuts to our budget and costly teams and sports lessons had to go. Young Champions understands that there are many families like mine who need to make cuts to their budget, but they want to help keep your child involved in the game!
Young Champions USA offers low-cost recreational programs nationwide. Their programs include 40-minute weekly classes by talented and enthusiastic instructors and coaches in cheer, hip hop dance, self defense/karate, art, soccer, and basketball!
What I love most is that they have four sessions a year and at the end of each session, they host a regional Cheer and Dance competition, Art Show, and Soccer/Basketball/Karate Tournament (events may not be available in all locations). I find this appealing because some children want to keep playing the sport even when the “season” ends. If my daughter could have done cheer for the entire year, she would have been thrilled! As for my son, the only sport he would play for a whole year is basketball! Four sessions of the same sport is perfect for kids who want to nurture the sport they are most passionate about.
Young Champions is proud to offer programs that truly make them unique – their affordable classes AND the ability for parents to pay weekly or pay the whole session, where they receive a discount. We have four children that are at the age of being eligible for sports. I would love to have weekly payments instead of paying for long-time contracts! There are no money or time restrictions for my children to play sports that they love.
About Young Champions:
Over 40 years ago, Bonnie Hood dreamt of creating a company that enhances children’s confidence, determination and self-motivation through the love of sports and activities. With the help of her family, Young Champions was created to provide affordable and fun recreational programs to all the families throughout the U.S. Her sons inherited the company and still continue the legacy today.
