Flowers by Sydney Florists: Tips to Create a Lover’s Delight

February 28, 2015 by Pam Maynard

If you’re head over heels in love with someone, there’s no reason not to treat them every once in a while with beautiful flowers from your favourite Sydney florist. The flowers that you choose for your special someone must be of the highest quality, so while you’re looking for the perfect bunch of flowers in Sydney, keep the following tips in mind:

  1. More than Flowers

Flowers form the centrepiece of a bouquet, but not every aspect. Talk with your florist to make sure the bouquet is balanced with greenery and filler plants like Baby’s Breath. These things make a bouquet look full, and when you’re after a work of art, that’s how you get it for your sweetheart!

  1. Choose Amazing Colours

When most people think of Valentine’s Day or weddings, they think of white, pink and red flowers but don’t think you cannot march to the tune of a different drummer! A bouquet is something that must represent someone you love – so when you’re browsing the shop, look for colours or arrangements that suit or reflect your loved one. Do you know their favourite colours? What colours complement the colours they wear? They will love the thought you’ve put into their flowers.

  1. Opt for Freshness

Make sure you do not get stuck with a bouquet that’s already wilting or that will within 12 hours. You want something to last (much like your love!). Thoroughly inspect the bouquet before purchasing it from the store – look for any wilted leaves or browning petals. Once you’ve brought the bouquet home, preserve it by cutting off the last inch of stems and place it in water.

If you love making someone feel special with a surprise like flowers made with love in Sydney, put some serious thought into your purchase as it will display your care for your loved one. Choose the most amazing bouquet. See www.floristwithflowers.com.au for your surprise.
