Nothing tastes better on a cold winter day than Beef Stew! I love making a big batch so we have lots of leftovers to eat. It always seems to taste better the next day!
I am all about easy recipes and this beef stew is super easy to make. It’s worth the time it takes to make it. You can add vegetables your family likes or take away ones they don’t.

- 1-2 lbs of Stew Beef
- 5 medium potatoes
- 1 Bag of Baby Carrots
- 1 Can of Green Beans
- 1 Can of Cream of Mushroom Soup
- 1 packet of French Onion Lipton Soup
- Brown the Stew Beef in a big soup pot. Be sure to start it on medium- high heat to sear in the flavor.
- Cook the Stew Beef with steak seasoning, salt and pepper until it is done.
- Add Cream of mushroom soup and a can of water.
- Add French Onion Soup Mix
- Add the baby carrots
- Wash and cut up potatoes and add them.
- Stir- be sure to add more water if needed.
- Simmer on medium-low heat for about an hour.
- Add a can of green beans or any other veggies your family enjoys.
- Simmer on low until potatoes and carrots are soft and fully cooked.
- Serve with Cornbread, biscuits, or french bread for dipping.
- Enjoy!
