Last year for Valentine’s Day my family was able to enjoy a day at build-a-Bear Workshop with my little ones, and I have to say: If you are looking for more than just a stuffed plush this Valentine’s Day, go to Build-a-Bear Workshop! The quality of their products are fantastic.
After we left the Workshop last year my daughter’s Princess Pet lost it’s fluff because she didn’t put enough in it. To add to our failure, our family pet ate the nose and eyes off of little man’s Pug. I put in a quick call to our Workshop and they were able to send them off to the hospital – at no charge! When they returned, both were like new again; cleaned, fluffed, and just like new! I was amazed. I never fully understood the value of Build-a-Bear until we saw how much they value their customers – long term! They know that the bear they sell today may be passed down for generations and want to make sure it is possible. I am now a firm believer that:
Build-a-Bear Workshop is THE BEST place to purchase a lifelong friend for your child!
This year we were able provide our youngest girls with a Valentine’s Day Huggable Hearts Puppy and Kitty. The Puppy has these beautiful blue eyes – just like my daughter’s. While I’m certain she is going to love him/her just the way the puppy arrived, we are also going to surprise the girls on Saturday with a quick trip to the store to pick out their own outfit too.
Are you ready for the GREAT reason to take your child to Build-a-Bear? Now through March 31, Build-A-Bear is offering its shoppers the chance to donate to Make-A-Wish to help the organization grant wishes for children with life-threatening medical conditions through their Share Your Heart campaign. Last year $440,000 was raised from Build-A-Bear and its U.S. guests! One hundred percent of donations collected from January 9 – March 31, 2015 will benefit Make-A-Wish with a guaranteed minimum contribution of $250,000. For more information, visit wish.org
Since its inception, Build-A-Bear Workshop has focused its community outreach efforts on improving the lives of children, families and animals. Together, the company and its guests have donated over $41 million dollars to important causes, including: Make-A-Wish, USO, The Marine Toys for Tots Foundation, DonorsChoose.org, First Book, and dozens of other organizations supporting children’s health and wellness, domestic pets, literacy and education, and other important causes.
