My Review:
Everyone needs a simple recording device at one time or another! Whether you want to watch who comes into your house, spy on the puppy during the day or just watch your baby take a nap- the Simplicam is perfect for you. It says it right in the name- SIMPLE- and it is. It took me about 5 minutes to set it up by using the app on my iPhone and following along with the instructions. Now I can watch live video on my phone anytime I want. You can see a screenshot above that I took after I finished setting it up.
Some of my favorite features are the mounting process- you can just use the base that it is attached to. It’s super easy to angle it in any direction.
You can actually use it as a walkie-talkie in your house. It has a two-way talk function. My son is loving this function. We got so silly we laughed so hard!
One of the main reasons we wanted the Simplicam is to watch our Bearded Dragons. One of the females is pregnant and we are able to check in on her and see if she is laying her eggs. Then, we will put it near the incubator so we can see those little babies hatch. How exciting is that?
We also run a Pet Resort/Doggy Daycare and we can use it to check in on the pups if we aren’t home.
A friend of mine has a webcam to check on the kids before she gets home from work. Now, she can actually watch them anytime she wants without waiting for them to log online.
A great feature is face recognition. I haven’t had a chance to use this yet, but it seems like a great feature.
