If your car could talk, what would it say to you? Do you think it would be happy with your mad cleaning skills? Thank you for rotating the tires? Or scream in agony when you drive with the “check engine” light on? Just thinking about it made me want to write a letter to my car:
Dear Betty,
I apologize for mistreating you this past year. I know we have been through a lot together, but I promise I will make it up to you. I will never forget to change your oil and detail your interior again. If you will forgive me I will take you in for servicing and have your tires rotated every three months – promise!
Please forgive me….
When thinking of my car this month I made a few New Years Resolutions and made several promises to our car. I don’t think Betty believes me, but we are trying. She’s been cleaned and had a minor interior detail performed. I pulled all of our repair receipts out of the glove compartment and itemized them on a list and filed the receipts away. All that I have left is a tire rotation. After we had a flat in Utah this fall we made a promise to have them rotated… still hasn’t happened but it is on my list.
Did you include our car care in your New Years Resolutions this year? Find out why I made one HERE at Zeigler Off-Road Performance.
