My hubby was very excited to get this Pelican Storm Case- mainly because he was getting a GoPro for Christmas. This case it designed specifically for the GoPro Camera. There are padded sections to hold all the parts, chargers, batteries, memory cards and more in this case. Not one piece will be left out to bang around and damage the camera. Unlike regular camera bags, this Pelican Case can withstand about any amount of dropping, roughness and even temperature. Did you know that it can withstand -20 to 140 degrees? That’s a huge range. It’s safe to say you could leave it in your car all year round (not that I would recommend or do that.)
The case is very lightweight compared to my hubby’s old Pelican case for his professional photography equipment. This case is only 3 pounds. Of course, it is smaller than the briefcase-sized Pelican case that he has owned for years. But they use different compound now. It’s a lightweight Resin.
Another great feature is that the case is waterproof. When you take it on any wild family adventures, you can be sure that the camera will stay dry, even if you don’t. If you are flying to get to your wild family adventure, it is an approved carry on as well.
I highly recommend this Pelican Storm Case for the GoPro Camera! It has exceeded out expectations! My hubby has open and closed it a bunch of times, just to admire his new camera. He even bought a few accessories for it so all the spaced in the case would be full.
