I have learned very quickly why Floridians don’t move out of state…. shoes. It all comes down to shoes!
My feet are a mess! Be it from being born pigeon toed, my flat foot, twelve years of wearing heals to work, or the nine years of flip flops since I left the workplace – I’ve come to the conclusion my feet hate me. If you live in Idaho and you have heard of a crazy woman wearing sandals in the snow… that’s me! No, I’m not kidding. My feet won’t let me wear anything else. I’ve tried all of my physical therapy exercises, various socks, wraps, all sorts of things and I can’t seem to wear anything but flip flops or sandals without pain.

Having flat feet can be more difficult than one may think. I can’t wear sneakers or any “normal” shoe – at all. When I exercise at the gym I manage to talk the management team into allowing me to wear padded bottom socks instead.
The first time my doctor put an arch support inside one of my shoes I thought I was going to die. The only thing forcing me to give proper arch support another try is my Sevilla boots. The boots feel amazing to the touch. The inside of the shaft is soft and comfortable, even if you wear low socks! I am an ankle sock and capri pants kind of girl and I have not experienced any discomfort on my calf when wearing these boots.
The quilted back is very defined and complete. Each stitch is consistent with the rest of the detailing in the boot.
The straps are adjustable, however, it looks a little silly to tighten them too much. My teenage daughter, clearly, has a smaller calf and requires a much smaller circumference than I. We attempted to adjust the width but it didn’t look as good.
I have worn the Earthies Sevilla Boots in ice and snow and have not experienced any slipping.
