My oldest daughter has always had a volunteer’s heart. For one of her birthdays we discussed holding a beach clean-up birthday party, another time she purchased chickens and a goat for a needy family through a charity at Church. When given the opportunity, she works for others in any way she can. For this reason, I selected her to receive the 1:Face Environment Watch.
What a 1Face Watch Can Do:

I chose the Environment watch for my daughter for several reasons. First, she likes blue. One of the things The Adventure Project does is provide women in Kenya with charcoal-efficient stoves. Not only are these stoves providing a family with a means of cooking their own food, but they are also a safer way of cooking than what these women were previously using.
Before receiving the charcoal-efficient stove, women in Kenya were spending thirty hours each week collecting wood to be used while cooking over an open fire. Each family was using an average of six trees each year to sustain their fires. An open fire is dangerous in many ways for obvious reasons but one of the greatest reasons it is dangerous is because of smoke inhalation. While I was visiting The Adventure Project online, I learned some startling information about how one stove makes a BIG difference. Take a look below:

The 1Face watch has a chunky style with mirrored face. It is very fitting for the 80s throwback fashion that has been popular over the past few years. You should know that the watch is petite so I don’t recommend it for men or women with large wrists.
