The holidays are coming and us ladies love to get dressed up for all those parties! One way many ladies like to change up their look is by using Hair Extensions. I have never worn them, but here is a lot of information from Abhair on choosing the right color and length.
How to choose the right color:
It’s a bit challenging to choose your perfect shade of hair extensions from a computer screen and we understand that here at abHair. To make the process easier, here are a few tips on how to choose the perfect shade of hair extensions.
We provide a hair color chart for your convenience (click here to view the details). If you know what color you want and you’re going to have them colored and styled after you buy them, then this may work for you. You can see all the colors online right there and make a choice and be on your way. No waiting for samples and color charts to get the job done.
How to choose length:
Hair extensions are an ideal option for anyone who wants to lengthen their hair, whether due to a haircut gone awry or just to try something new. No matter what your reason for getting extensions is, it’s important to choose the right length. Here are some things to consider when deciding on hair extension lengths.
Wavy/ Curly vs. Straight Hair Extensions
Before you decide on a length, be sure to consider whether you want wavy/curly or straight hair extensions. Wavy/curly extensions tend to look slightly shorter than straight extensions due to the texture of the hair. If you are planning to opt for Wavy/curly extensions, you may want to go one size longer than you would if you’re planning to buy straight extensions. Also, keep in mind that wavy/curly extensions tend to feel heavier than straight extensions when you wear them.
Comfort
Comfort is another factor to consider when trying to decide on a length that is right for your hair extensions. If you are used to having short hair, it may be difficult for you to adjust to a really long length. Hair extensions that are no longer than 18″ are generally suitable for those with short hair. On the other hand, you may feel comfortable wearing longer extensions if you have medium to long hair.
Tips to Getting the Right Size:
1.Measure properly.
What a lot of people don’t do is measure their hair to know exactly what size hair extensions they should buy. This is a huge problem once you buy the extensions. What you don’t want to do is measure your hair from the wrong spot, you need to measure from the very center of the back of your head since that is where the hair extensions will sit.
