It’s fall in New England which means beautiful colors everywhere. But, if you are visiting Illinois, have you ever thought about visiting Illinois River Road? It’s the perfect time to head out for a weekend drive down to the Illinois River Road. The spectacular colors from fall foliage are on display throughout the nature points and winding roads within the river valley. The entire experience is one that cannot be missed, even if you find yourself taking few detours off the beaten path.
Be sure to mark next year’s calendar so you can head back down to the Spoon River Scenic Drive Fall Festival that has been held during the first two weekends of October since 1968!
