Did you keep up with all of the latest in Cloth Diapering last month? Besides all of the new prints and colors from everyone, Super Undies unleashed their latest form of genius, the all new Hybrid Training Pant that will be officially launched in October. The hybrid is a one-size trainer that can be used as a diaper OR a pull up. Honestly, I need a case of these – where do I sign up?
Just before the expo I received two styles of Super Undies training pants to try out on our youngest. Our new trainers arrived during a visit from my husband’s seventy-something year-old grandmother and she was more thrilled to see fluffy mail than I was! She walked around showing everyone our new arrivals stating:
“Look at [baby girl’s] new drawers! Aren’t they purdy?” I ain’t never seen nothin’ like these before. What will they think of next?”
She thought our new Super Undies training pants were the best thing in cloth diapers since the diaper pin! She was in love and it put quite a smile on everyone’s face to see her excitement. (I know I got a great kick out of it anyway.)
After granny returned our trainers, I was able to get them ready for baby girl. We received two Pull-On Undies and a Purple Pixie Nighttime Undies.
Pull-On Undies:
The colors of the pull-on undies are bright and lovely. Even after the messiest forms of abuse and washes, the colors have remained just as vibrant for us and without any stains.
My favorite feature of the Super Undies Pull-On Undies is their microfiber inserts. I have no idea what they are using on the side that can touch the skin but it is super soft! Baby girl hasn’t said but I imagine they are more comfortable than anything we have ever used.
The inserts wash easily and come out of the trainer on their own in the machine.
Cotton Nighttime Undies:
The cotton nighttime undies have never let us down! Regardless of how early she may go to sleep, one nighttime undies will last us until morning. And, by morning, I mean between nine and ten o’clock!
The cotton undies appear to be comfortable for baby girl. They are a little bulkier than the Pull-on Undies. The semi-attached insert doesn’t always agitate out during the wash. This generally isn’t a problem but could be if we encounter a heavily soiled or stinky nighttime accident. I suggest manually separating after the first wash/rinse cycle is complete in those instances.
Overview:
Super Undies have become our go-to diapers for nighttime and daytime use. We love both of the styles we have received and never encountered an accident they couldn’t hold. While baby girl is still in the early stages of her potty training, I would LOVE to add Super Undies’ new Hybrid into our stash. Be sure to check those out next month!
