As a dog lover and owner of Camp Wags Pet Resort, I have met all kinds of dogs and seen all kinds of dog food brands! Meet Marley:
Marley is our 7-year-old Border Collie and he is the best dog we have ever owned. That is saying a lot since we have owned over 20 dogs between my hubby and me. He is not just a dog, he is my son’s younger sibling, he is my husband’s best friend and he is my back warmer/snuggler all year long. Marley knows he is not just a dog. You can see it in his eyes! He is smart, sometimes too smart for his own good. He is energetic, playful, but takes his Frisbee playing serious. He can catch a Frisbee no matter how or where you throw it. He can even adjust for wind direction and bad throws. It is really amazing to watch him catch his Flippy Flopper Frisbee!
Marley also takes his relaxation seriously. He can nap with the best of them. He is so trusting that he will lay on his back, belly up, so you can rub his belly and he can get cooled off with the AC. He knows exactly how to jump on the bed without stepping on us or squishing us. I don’t need a heating pad when Marley sleeps with us. He knows how to lay with his back against mine without me even having to ask. Marley is very sensitive. You never have to discipline him because he feels guilty about any misdemeanors even if he didn’t do them. When you’re feeling sad, he’s always there for you. When you’re feeling cranky, he knows to leave us alone until we feel nicer. Even if you just leave the house for 5 minutes, when you come home, it’s like you have been gone for a week!
Marley is so special, I knew he needed to be part of the Purina One 28 Day Challenge. He deserves the best we can give him! We have always given our dogs Purina products, but he had never tried the Purina One Vibrant Maturity for dogs 7+. He definitely loved the taste from the beginning. Usually we have to put canned food on his dry food to get him to eat it. With Purina One, he eats it quicker and without an added extras!
Another change we noticed was the increased energy Marley had after just a few days on Purina One. Border Collies are well known for their high energy levels so Marley didn’t need any extra energy. His long-haired Black and White coat also looks even shinier than before. I even found that his “tangles” are easier to brush out than they used to be.
