Summer vacation is fast approaching. My family goes camping every year in Vermont. Recently, I had someone ask me if we go Glamping. I know you must have heard about Glamping. I just want to know which one your family would pick!
Recently, the camping scene has caught fire in an upgrade on rest and recreation. It’s called glamping, a new word for a new kind of travel, defined as glamorous camping. When you’re glamping, there’s no tent to pitch, no sleeping bag to unroll, no fire to build. Whether in a tent, yurt, airstream, hut, villa or treehouse, glamping is a way to experience the great outdoors without sacrificing luxury.
On the other hand, camping is pitching a tent, sleeping in a sleeping bag, roasting marshmallows over a campfire and spending time enjoying the great outdoors. Time is spent enjoying the sunrises, sunsets, snuggling under blankets and watching for shooting stars. There are no cell phones ringing, no air conditioners running, it’s just you and nature!

Happy Trails! If your family likes to camp or glamp, either way, don’t let HOW you vacation interfere with WHY you are on vacation.
