Christmas is coming and my to-do list is getting longer and longer. My family lives north of us so luckily, no family parties at my house. But I still have to do all the shopping for presents, mail out the Christmas cards and take care of all the decorating. The one thing that I always put off to the last minute is mailing out Christmas cards. I keep saying every year that I am just going to send e-cards, but when I get that first “real” card in the mail, I just have to send them out. I don’t mind the actual cards, its addressing everyone and thinking of something nice but personal to write inside each one.
With the writing of cards comes invitations to parties. My family has our Christmas party after Christmas, only because it is too crazy to try to get all of us together before Christmas. We do have a big Thanksgiving dinner together. My older sister lives in the middle of us all so she gets to host it most years. Also, my son’s birthday is December 6th so we have to send out invitations to his Birthday party too. That reminds me, I need to write that on my to-do list.
