My Review:
Dental Hygiene is so important for your children. Many children despise the dentist and all the good habits that come with the dentist. My son loves our dentist. He has been going since he was in my belly. The main reason he loves the dentist is because he associates fun with the dentist. He has always been encouraged to make a picture/drawing to be posted on the wall of fame. In six months, the first thing he does is look for his picture from last time. Each time he improves upon his masterpiece.
At home, we have electric toothbrushes. He is encouraged to brush for 2 minutes so he gets the smiley face on the timer. It’s a simple reward, but he knows we will check and see if he attained the 2 minute smiley so he automatically goes for 2 minutes. Gotta love it!
When he was younger, he loved the tooth tunes toothbrushes. Now he just tries to sing while he is brushing. Sometimes it can get messy! As for flossing, we like the floss picks- they are great for reaching back teeth and so much easier to use that messy floss.
We love that Orbit for Kids is not only sugar-free but it is another way to help keep your children’s teeth clean between brushing. My son loves the Strawberry Banana flavor. He says it lasts longer than most of his other favorite gums. It stays soft so it’s easy to chew.
I love that Orbit for Kids actually stimulates saliva and helps clear the mouth of food debris which in turn, will help freshen their breath and reduces plaque acids. The less plaque, the less time in the dentist chair!!
