This summer, Lay’s potato chips is celebrating its 75th anniversary by sharing iconic summer moments – re-created in Lay’s packaging. Every day, Lay’s is sharing fun DIY Summer Icon made out of Lay’s packages. We get treated to a new one each day for 75 days on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram. From fireflies to ice cream cones to sunflowers, no familiar icon proves too challenging. And, for the DIY’er in all of us, simple tutorials on their Pinterest page show all of us how to re-create the Lay’s images at home. Go here to see how to make these cool summer crafts at home.
What is your favorite summer moment? We go camping in Vermont at the Solar Fest every summer. Nothing says summer like camping, sun, music, solar power and alternative energy! We meet friends there each year. We even teach workshops like “Building Magical Fairy Houses!” Here is are 2 of my favorite moments from Solar Fest- one from last summer and one from last weekend:
