My Review:
I may not have a baby at home to mash fruits and veggies up for, but I do have plenty of furry and scaly creatures to mash things up for. Our Crested Geckos love fruit! Normally, I buy they baby food, peaches, pears, cherries, bananas. Not anymore! I used the SMASH to press a Kiwi and then a banana. It was super easy to use!
The SMASH is perfect for parents on the go. Throw it in the diaper bag so next time you are out and about, and baby is cranky and needs a snack, grab some bananas, peaches, pears, kiwi, avocado and SMASH them up! The handle it easy to push down. Even on the kiwi, I had no trouble pressing it into baby food consistency.
Here are some great things I love about the SMASH:
- It’s portable- you can take it anywhere.
- It’s easy to clean. The 3 parts are detachable and you just rinse it out and let it dry. I even put mine on the top rack of the dishwasher.
- It’s perfect for weaning baby off the bottle. You can make nutritious and delicious fresh baby food in just minutes.
- The SMASH works on almost any soft food. From fruits, veggies, even pasta- if it’s soft, it will SMASH it!
- It has a bowl built in. When on the go, after you SMASH your fruit, the bowl is the perfect size for baby sized portions.
- It comes with a spoon! How convenient is that.
- It has a removeable lid.
- It’s PVC and BPA free!
My 10 year old loves to help me make gecko food, now that we have the SMASH! Gotta love that!
I highly recommend the Onbi Baby SMASH for new moms or anyone needing to make their own baby food! This would make a perfect baby shower gift.
