Pam: Can you tell me a little about your family?
Mickie: My husband and I met in 2004. We had our first child (Alexis) in July of 2009 and married on July 6, 2012. We are a very close little family. He is very outdoorsy and loves being outside in the heat. I am slowly learning to give summer a chance.. ( I will always prefer autumn!) He works and thankfully that allows me to stay home with our daughter. My personal opinions have always had me prefer to stay home with the children if possible. I love watching her learn and experiencing things I might miss out on if I had a full time job. Scentsy allows me to work when I want, so that helps avoid daycare costs too.
Pam: What made you get into Scentsy company?
Mickie: To be honest, I started Scentsy to feed my “addiction” I had no intention of really trying to actively sell. Then once I learned more about Scentsy, I couldn’t wait to share it with other families! I started in October 2012.
Pam: Have you ever worked outside the home?
Mickie: I worked and started training to be an EMT. I then found out I was pregnant and decided to stay home with my daughter until she is old enough to start school.
Pam: Are there any good specials for Scentsy customers this month?

Pam: What is your favorite scentsy product and scent?
Mickie: Choosing a favorite product is hard! I would have to say I have 2- I love my Rustic Star warmer in my living room. It matches my decor perfect! And I also love the travel tin in my car. I have dogs, a toddler, and a husband.. We all know how stinky things can get with those things! (hehe)
My favorite scent right now is Beach. I have it burning in my living room and bathroom. It is also the tin I have in my car!

Pam: What advice would you give to moms who want to work from home.
Mickie: Go for it! I think being able to work from home is fantastic! My husband is foreman at his job and sometimes works really long hours.. I am able to work around his schedule, my daughters gymnastics and anything else that gets thrown our way. I think working from home has so many rewards!
Pam: Tell me a fun fact about you that will make me giggle.
Mickie: I have the most ridiculous “scream/sneeze” I call it that because that is what my nieces refer to it as! It is actually a loud scream before my sneeze.. it is especially obnoxious in the comfort of my own home!! LOL
