Cleanse and Scrub

As the winter months had bid adieu welcoming the warmer spring months, the kind of skin care products that we use also needs to be changed. Regularly clean your face with a good and preferably natural face wash to wash off all the excess oils, sebum and impurities that get stuck with the perspiration.

Apart from that you also need exfoliate at least once a week to remove all the dead and dry skin cells and deep cleaning the pores of your face. This helps your skin to breathe properly and bring back the glow of your skin. For exfoliation look for products that contain mild acids, fruit extracts and enzymes and fine micro beads for scrubbing. The facial skin is extremely soft and fragile so do not put a lot of pressure on the skin for getting better results. It might damage your skin rather than rejuvenating it.

Hydrate

The next important step for getting flawless skin is to hydrate it. Most of us confuse hydration with moisturizing. However, these are not similar process. Hydration means to provide the skin cells with enough amount of water so that they can function properly and appear healthier. The best way to hydrate skin is by drinking a lot of water or using skin products containing compounds like hyaluronic acid.

Moisturize

This process helps in locking the moisture and water that you have supplied to the skin. Regularly moisturizing your skin is extremely important for getting the glow of your teens back. The right moisturizer will make your skin smooth, soft and supple. This a daily dose of nourishment required by facial skin of varying skin type. After the completion of this step, you will feel and look fresh. Choose a moisturizer that contains peptides as it helps in locking the water provided to the skin during hydration.

Sunscreen

A good sunscreen with ideal SPF is absolutely necessary for all women. The strong sunrays along with the UV rays can cause much damage to your facial skin even if it is exposed to direct sunlight for a short span of time. Therefore, even if you are rigorously following all the above mentioned steps but do not take adequate steps for blocking the sunlight, then the damage caused by such exposure cannot be fixed easily. So never forget to apply sunscreen before going out.
