DOLE Fruit Crisps- Quick Sweet Tooth Fix!
What a great excuse for a party!!
My son loves having “mini parties” with 3 or 4 of his good friends. So he came up with a kid “mini party” and I invited the moms to stay! We had 4 moms and an older sister that made our afternoon fun party- and delicious. I called the party DOLE Fruit Crisp Quick Sweet Tooth Fix. I had all the goodies laid out on the dining room table so everyone could see their choices.
We made some “Mocktails” but the kids loved them so much, us moms didn’t get to enjoy them much. We ended up using my Keurig for coffee- gotta have coffee with Apple Crisp!
I had enough DOLE Fruit Crisps so everyone got to try at least a bite of each. We heated a few up in the microwave. Warm Fruit Crisps was unanimously better than room temperature Fruit Crisps. We also added ice cream to a few. I had Chocolate/peanut butter swirl and French vanilla. I actually loved the chocolate ice cream better. The other moms all preferred French Vanilla ice cream.
As we were enjoying our DOLE Fruit Crisps, we tried to decide if we would eat these for dessert or a quick pick me up snack? DOLE Fruit Crisps are made with all natural fruit and whole grain oats. These tasty treats only have 160 calories and 3.5 grams of fat. They also have 40% of your day’s supply of Vitamin C! We decided both was the best answer. My guests loved that these treats are delicious, low in fat and calories and they are ready to go in a minute!
I would eat them for a quick snack at work and after dinner, I would heat one and put a dollop of ice cream on top!
What was the favorite DOLE Fruit Crisps? We all decided that we would need to try them all again to make a decision. They are available in the canned fruit aisle of grocery stores nationwide.
DOLE Fruit Crisps are a great “Quick-Fix” to satisfy your sweet tooth craving. We also talked about some great Quick-fixes for busy moms. My favorite was the quick fix for greasy hair. My son tends to have this problem and really hates showers for some reason (until he gets in and then he doesn’t want to come out.) Use dry shampoo or for a less expensive option, use baby powder. Sprinkle a little in your hair and comb it through. Amazingly, it worked!
My guests’ favorite quick fix the chipped nail tip. We used the nail polish that came with party pack and purposely left an empty spot on a nail. We then used a sharpie that matched the polish and just colored it in! Amazing! Next time you get a manicure, make sure to invest in a similar color sharpie marker. You can fix your own chipped nails and save a trip back to the salon.
