It’s been said many times over that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Eat breakfast like a king and the rest of the day’s meal like a pauper and you’ll feel revitalized and energetic all throughout the day. But with more people, especially the busybodies, skipping home-made breakfast for fat-and-MSG-laden staples, your family’s health might be at risk. The secret to attracting everyone to spend some time on the breakfast table is to serve something exciting, yummy and invigorating. Read on and find out some exciting breakfast recipes that will surely excite hubby and kids’ palate.

Peanut Butter Banana French Toast

Peanut butter banana French toast is something to look forward to in the kitchen table. Have a plate for the family and everyone will definitely want to have a slice.

For the ingredients, prepare the following:

  • 2 large eggs
  • 2-3 dashes of vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 4 slices bread (or more, depending on what you want)
  • 2 small slices of banana (you can add more slices, too)
  • 1/4 cup butter

Here’s how you do it:

  1. Put egg and vanilla in a bowl. Mix them gently.
  2. Spread a tablespoon of peanut butter on every slice of bread. Top each with a slice of banana, then layer with another slice of bread to make it look like a sandwich.
  3. Set your stove to medium. Heat the frying. Put on the butter and wait until it melts. Dip the sandwich into the egg mixture. Put into the pan and wait until it turns. Serve while hot.

Morning Pizza

Prepare the following ingredients:

  • Pizza crust (you can have a homemade or ready-made, frozen one)
  • 2-3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 6 large eggs
  • 2-3 tablespoons water
  • A package of bacon bits (you can have as much as you want)
  • Shredded cheese (as much as you want, too)

Directions

  1. Get your crust ready and spread a tablespoon of olive oil on it. Prick the dough with fork. Set your oven at 400° then bake for up to 10 minutes or wait until dough looks brown.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk eggs and water. In a small skillet, heat remaining oil until hot. Add eggs; cook and stir over medium heat until completely set.
  3. Fill eggs over crust then add a generous amount of bacon and cheese. Bake for up to 8 minutes or until the cheese is melted.

Mushroom Quinche

This mouth-watering quinche will definitely fit the palate of everyone in the family. Serve this for breakfast and you’ll give them a very fulfilling meal that they’d love to munch every now and again.

Prepare the following ingredients:

  • 1 unbaked pastry shell
  • A generous service of fresh mushrooms (sliced)
  • Half cup chopped green onions
  • 2-3 tablespoons butter
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 1/4 cups half-and-half cream
  • A pinch of pepper
  • Shredded cheese (more if you want)
  • Cooked bacon strips

Directions

  1. Layer unpricked pastry shell with a thick heavy-duty foil.
  2. Set the oven at 450° then bake for up to 8 minutes. Remove foil then bake for another 5 minutes.
  3. Take the foil out from the oven and reset the heat to 375°.
  4. Melt the butter on a frying pan or skillet. Sautee mushrooms and onions until tender.
  5. Mix and gently beat eggs, cream and pepper, then mix the sautéed mushrooms with egg mixture.
  6. Add cheese and bacon and steer.
  7. Pour into crust. Seal edges with foil then bake for 35 minutes.
  8. Insert knife into the center and if it comes out clean, then it’s cooked.
