My Review:
I was so excited to get the 14 piece Gold-plated Stainless Steel Cookware set from Brylane Home! I have needed new cookware for awhile. I had pots with no lids or pots with lids that didn’t fit right because it was from an old set. I didn’t even have a steamer insert for a large pot. Living in New England, I need that steamer for clams, lobsters and corn on the cob! I use the 2 quart saucepan the most. It’s perfect for our favorite Friday Night Mac ‘n Cheese! The 1 quart saucepan is great for making gravy or cooking veggies or even heating up soup. The 3 quart saucepan is great for cooking pasta or making beef stew or chili! I love the covers for these saucepans. They are glass and allow you to view what you’re cooking without taking the lid off! The gold-plated handles and accents are very pretty and give my kitchen an upgraded look!
The steamer insert is one of my favorite pieces in the set! It’s perfect for veggies, clams, small lobsters and more! I have needed one for a long time, but it’s one of those things you just live without because you can steam without it.
The Non-stick frying pans are great for our family. We tend to make omelets, tacos, chicken enchiladas and more. A non-stick frying pan is a must in our house. Brylane home non-stick pans are excellent. I hardly used any Pam Spray when I made an omelet and it came out perfectly! One of my favorite things about these non-stick pans is how easy they are to wash. I HATE washing dishes that have so much stuck on food you are scrubbing for days. Easy clean up is a must in my kitchen.
Overall, I love my new Brylane Home Cookware set! I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a quality set for less! Right now, this set is only $99- it’s normally $279! The only thing I would change is the handles on the lids. They get too hot to take off with bare hands. You need to use a potholder to take the glass lid off. Be careful if you have little ones helping in the kitchen. My hubby is making me a cap for the lid so I don’t burn my hands. 🙂
