The difference is the use of electricity & output of EMF (radiation). The ECO 8000 emits 4.1 mG (milligauss) of radiation. A standard 1,800 WATT dryer emits over 200.0 mG. Things I love:
- The long cord is awesome! It doesn’t get twisted and tangled either!
- It has many heat and speed settings to pick from.
- It’s powerful and dries my hair in record time. I have long, thick hair so having a quality blow dryer is so helpful!
- It saves 40% electricity over regular blow dryers.
- I love the cool shot button. I’m sure I will use this function in the summer!
- It dries my hair without frizz! Love that!
Things I would improve upon:
- It seems to take 20 seconds or so to heat up. I’m not sure why, it would be better if it was hot from the beginning.
- The speed and heat settings aren’t labeled.
Overall, I highly recommend this Barbar blow dyer for anyone in the market for a quality blow dryer!
