The majority of the seatbelt material they utilize is material that has been rejected by the automakers each year thus keeping it out of the landfills! The availability of rejected seat belt webbing can vary greatly therefore some webbing must be purchased new to meet the growing demand for our unique and stylish bags. However, their commitment to use repurposed seatbelt webbing whenever possible remains steadfast. The Maggie Bags team is continually looking for creative ways to do our part for the environment.
What a wonderful way to help keep material of the landfills and I can’t believe they’ve created so many beautiful and useful handbags, totes, backpacks and more from it!
I received the Cicily Tote in red just like the one in the picture and it has become my favorite every day handbag. I stepped out of my usual color choices of black or brown and went for this beautiful red one instead and it does not disappoint! It’s a vibrant red not an orange red, it’s incredibly well made, strong and gorgeous. I can’t tell you how many people have stopped to ask me about my Maggie Handbag! It totally catches their eye and when I tell them what it’s made out of they’re even more impressed!
The red goes with almost everything too and it brings some color to any outfit. I also love the inside lining of purple where I can easily spot anything I’ve put into and thank goodness it has enough pockets for me to put all my things into.

I’m hooked on Maggie Bags and now I have to decide again which color do I want to buy next the black, the brown or the grey I love all of them but those are my top 3 now 🙂
