My Review:
Do you have a little one with wiggly teeth? This is the perfect gift for them! Loosing teeth can be scary for kids. The Tale of the Tooth Fairy Story helps kids look at their tooth loss in a new, fun way!
The first thing that I loved about Tale of the Tooth Fairy was the cute packaging! See how it comes in a large gift box in the shape of a book and tied with a white ribbon. Actually, this whole package is built to withstand little hands opening and closing it many times. This is where your fairy and book will live until the next wiggly tooth comes around! I just love how the gift box is the fairy doll’s home. It even has little chair and tea set illustrated in the background.
The Story Set comes with a Tooth Fairy Doll with a cute little gold pouch that will hold that lost tooth until the tooth fair comes to claim it. The set comes with a boy or girl doll. I received the girl doll for my review. The Doll is well made, very soft and has wonderfully delightful details. Even her wings shimmer and her gold tooth bag sparkles! Her little pink ballet shoes are so cute and are tied with a tiny pink ribbon.
The story itself is the best part. The illustrations are beautiful. The story is heartwarming and fun but also teaches us to believe in ourselves. There was one young fairy who did not have a magical job like all the other fairies. She thought long and hard about what her job should be. She watched the children’s lost teeth get buried in the ground so the child would grow up strong and big like a tree. She thought it would be so much more fun for the kids to get a little money or a small gift for losing a tooth.
When she went to the high council to explain her new job, they wanted to know what would become of all these lost teeth. She said “they will become stars in the night sky.” How cute is that. My son would have loved to think that his teeth would be a star in the sky. I wonder how many times we would have had to look at stars after he lost a tooth. He is 10 now and doesn’t really believe in the Tooth Fairy. Well, he does because he gets money under his pillow. 🙂 So, the little fairy found her new magic job- she became the tooth fairy. And she even designed an official Tooth Fairy Pouch so the other Tooth Fairies could find the teeth more easily. She has a super hard time finding the children’s teeth that first night. She decided to leave each child a soft fairy with a pouch like hers. When the high council saw how happy the children were, they made her the official Tooth Fairy.
So, when your little one has a loose tooth, get the Tooth Fairy story set out and plan ahead. Don’t forget to fill out the chart in the back of the book- the Tooth Record Keeper.
Mom Does Reviews gives the Tale of the Tooth Fairy 5 out of 5 stars. Children ages 3 and up will love their new Tooth Fairy!
