Buy with Confidence- Collect with Confidence
Coin Collecting is a great hobby for kids and adults alike. My son has a small coin collection going, thanks to the Tooth Fairy. My husband, aka The Tooth Fairy, is a novice coin collector. I know he has American Silver Eagles coins because the Tooth Fairy brings some of them in place of a lost tooth. It’s always fun to see which coin the Tooth Fairy left. The boys spend time researching how much it’s worth, what year it’s from and they hold it and pass it back and forth. I’m not sure which one likes the Tooth Fairy better.
What supplies would your child need to start a coin collection? Coin books are reference guides which help you start your new hobby and even tell you how to spot a counterfeit coin. They will also need coin albums/pages to keep their collection safe. One way to store them is to get a 3 ring binder and order the special pages depending on what coins you are collecting. Coin boxes or tubes may come in handy also. The Tooth Fairy recommends the Silver Eagle plastic holder to keep those coins safe and protected. You may also want to buy a magnifier to bring details to life.
Coin collecting can be a fun family hobby or one for that wanna-be millionaire. Maybe Santa could bring Coin Collecting Supplies for your child this year for Christmas!
