Great Apple recipe for the Holidays using Udi’s Gluten Free food!
When you hear Udi’s Gluten Free foods- do you think delicious or ugh? My boys were very hesitant to try the Udi’s snacks, but once they did, those Snickerdoodles and Brownie Bites were gone in a flash! I didn’t have a chance to use them to make a unique and yummy dessert. I did, however, use the Sweet and Crunchy Vanilla Granola as a topping for my Crispy, Crunchy Apple Dessert! We were all saying delicious! It was so good we even had some for breakfast!
Ingredients:
- Peel, Core and slice 8 or 10 apples.
- Cinamon Sugar-4 tablespoons
- Brown Sugar- 1/2 cup
- Cornstarch- 2 teaspoons
- Butter- 1 tablespoon softened
- Lemon Juice- 3 -4 teaspoons
Topping:
- Udi’s Sweet and Crunchy Vanilla Granola-
- 1/2 stick of butter softened
- brown sugar
Preparation:
Mix all ingredients in a mixing bowl. Pour into baking dish.
Mix Topping ingredients together. Spread across top of apples.
Bake at 350 for 45 minutes or until topping is crunchy and apples are soft.
Enjoy with Vanilla Ice Cream, Whipped Cream or by itself.
We even eat it for Breakfast! It has fruit and cereal in it after all!

- Mix granola in with pudding of any flavor.
- Mix Granola into a fruit salad for a crunchy change.
- Top a salad with Granola instead of croutons.
