Family Friday post!

Many families operate on a tight budget these days, so affording a respectable cellphone plan can be difficult. This article will explain three budget-friendly cellphone options that may fit your family.
Cricket
Cricket offers cheap cellphone plans designed to help families stay connected. With no contracts and basic plans that start at $35 dollars, Cricket can be useful for money-conscious families. Its nationwide coverage can help families stay connected and keep in touch with relatives that live far away.
Of course, Cricket is not without its flaws. Cricket offers limited coverage, so find out if they offer service in your area. Also, some believe that Cricket has reception problems and poor phone selection. Despite whatever issues Cricket may have, it remains an affordable option for families.
Pure TalkUSA
Like Cricket, Pure TalkUSA does not require a contract and offers cheap plans for families. Its basic plan starts at $10 a month for 130 minutes with no extra fees, and you can buy more minutes at $10 increments if necessary. Its Family Flex Plan offers the option to add up to 5 new lines for $5 each, which is especially useful for large families; each line comes with 60 minutes per month.
Pure TalkUSA also offers additional benefits. It has rollover minutes that never expire, and it allows families to adjust their plan to the next level should they exceed 130 minutes. Overall, Pure TalkUSA is one of the best options for families with a lot of cellphone users.
T-Mobile
While T-Mobile is more costly than the first two options, it provides families with excellent plans and benefits. Although T-Mobile has many plans to choose from, families that frequently use cellphones should focus on its classic plan, which offers 1000 minutes for $59.98 a month. This plan may be too expensive for some, but it offers far more minutes per month than Pure TalkUSA and Cricket.
However, be aware that most of T-Mobile’s plans are far more expensive than its classic talk plan; the second cheapest plan is $79.98 a month.
Compare on Wirefly
If you don’t like any of the above options and want to look into cellphone plans yourself, you should try Wirefly, a website that compares plans and phone prices for major cellphone carriers. Wirefly allows you to compare carrier information without heavy research, so you should have no problem finding a plan that’s right for your family.
