My Review: This hardcover book is overflowing with facts about animals, energy, history, travel and more.  Did you know that Spadefoot Toads smell like Peanut Butter?  I sure didn’t.  My son and I had lots of fun learning new things every time we read it.  We had started a journal last year where we would write down a new fact that we had learned that day.  Unfortunately, we have gotten out of the habit of writing in it, but once we picked up this HUGE book, that learning journal came back to life.  It’s so much fun when your child begs to read more and more of a book.  This book is a definite must have for your child’s library.  Actually, I would put it in my library, I keep learning things every day too!
