My Review:
I was very excited to get my Xtrema 4 qt Soup/Bean pot. It reminds me of the bean pot my mom uses to make baked beans. But this isn’t your mother’s bean pot! The unique shape makes it fun and the easy to carry handles makes it easy to put out on the table for serving. It can go from stovetop to table to freezer to oven to microwave to dishwasher! I made chili with it and it heated up so fast I had to turn it down to low so it wouldn’t cook too fast.
I love how versatile it is. You can freeze a casserole in the pot and then put it right into the oven to heat it up. I also love that you can scrub it with anything- really, even a brillo pad! I don’t know why you would need to, the finish makes everything just come right off in soapy water.
The Xtrema pot does keep the food hot much longer! The chili i made stayed hot much longer than my regular soup pot keeps it. I had to actually leave the lid off so it would cool.
I love that I can cook green” with the Xtrema pot! So healthy for my family!
The one thing that you need to be aware of is how hot the button on the lid gets. Just remember to use a potholder to take the lid off after that.

I made chili in my new Soup Pot.
- I browned about 1 pound of Ground Beef and drained the grease off.
- Mix 1- 15 oz can of pureed tomatoes and 1 can of tomato soup. ( the soup makes the chili a little sweeter)
- Add 1 can of kidney or cannelloni beans
- Yes, I cheat and use McCormick Chili Seasoning packet.
- Simmer in your new Xtrema Soup pot for about an hour.
- Serve over baked potatoes, frito chips, rice or hot dogs!
- Don’t forget to add sour cream and cheddar cheese!
