Oregon Scientific Daylight Weather Projection Clock Review

June 8, 2012 by Pam Maynard

Daylight Weather Projection Clock: Perfect for Father’s Day

About the product: This sleek black weather clock will always keep you in the know. The projection feature shines the current time, outdoor temperature and future weather forecast on your choice of surfaces. The integrated light sensor detects the current light levels, and automatically adjusts the projection beam to the perfect level of brightness – making it easy to see the projection at even the brightest time of day. Included wireless sensor gives you the precise outdoor temperature and calendar display in your choice of 5 languages keeps you on schedule.

My Review: Oregon Scientific has always been a favorite site for my hubby to buy weather stations and other fun “guy” stuff.  I surprised him early this year with a Daylight Projection Clock from Oregon Scientific.  He loves it!  Without his glasses on, her can’t read the alarm clock that’s less than 6 feet away.  Now, with his new Projection Clock, he positions the display so it’s right above the bed and he can see it easily.  He doesn’t even have to raise his head.  He can even read the red display better than the blue one on the alarm clock.  He loves seeing the weather when he sees the time.  No guessing about what to dress our son in for school.

I love how it shows the temperature and the weather with the easy to read icons.  It also has The Atomic Time function for time auto-sets.  No arguing over what time it really is.  And that projection beam, I was skeptical at first, thinking you would never be able to see it during the day, but you can!  The beam adjusts according to the light in the room.  My border collie loves to chase flash lights and laser lights.  The first night we had the clock on, he stared at the ceiling for 2 hours, waiting for it to move.

I highly recommend the Daylight Weather Projection Clock for your Dad or Husband for Father’s Day.  It’s a fun but practical gift that they will love!
