Do you know how to measure your dog for a collar?
A good fit is very important to ensure the collar is snug enough to keep from slipping over your dog’s ears, yet loose enough to be comfortable. A good fitting collar will not be the exact size of your dog’s neck. This is too tight. It should be snug but not choke.
To measure your dog, use a soft measuring tape, such as a seamstress’s cloth tape measure. You may also use a piece of string, simply measure it after. Make sure your dog is standing. Measure snugly around your dog‘s neck where the collar would sit. Then add from one to two inches; one inch for a small dog and two inches for a large dog. This is the collar size for your dog. For a correctly fitted collar, you should be able to slip two fingers, flat, in between the tape and neck. For a very small dog, it may be one finger and for a much larger dog, three fingers

As a dog lover and owner of Camp Wags Pet Resort, dogs are our life! I was excited get a chance to review and giveaway a great collar from Dog Collar Boutique. We have a Border Collie and Yellow Lab of our own. The Border Collie, Marley, is busy rounding up chickens and kids. He could care less about collars. The Yellow Lab, Gracie, is a girlie girl. She was excited to get a new collar. I picked the Suns collar from the Stylish Trends collection. The Navy Blue contrasts so nicely with her “Blonde” fur. She loves it. Gracie gives her new collar 4 paws up and a great big tail wag.
I love the quality of the Suns collar. It is heavy material, bright and fun print and has high quality plastic closures and rings. There are so many designs and styles to pick from, it was hard to pick just one.
The website was easy to use. It even has onlinelive help in case you have any questions.
Shipping was fast, which is very important to my doggy diva. Once I told her about her new collar, she bugged me until it came.
