LEGO education.
Yes, it’s true, LEGOs are more than just a bunch of blocks, begging to be put together. LEGOs are actually one of the most popular educational toys for kids. Some children prefer to create their masterpieces with a bunch of random pieces. Others, prefer to follow the directions in a popular set, such as Star Wars or Harry Potter. Both of these options are educational for children.
Free blocks inspire creativity:
Kids of any age can let their imagination run wild with the possibilities awaiting them in the pile of colorful bricks. It is so exciting to see what those little hands can create. Will it be a spaceship, a car, a house or just an imaginative world that only your child understands. It doesn’t matter, as long as your child is happy and having fun. All this creativity is great for children’s eye-hand coordination.
LEGO sets inspire confidence:
Have you ever looked at the directions to a LEGO set? Some sets have over 500 pieces and a direction booklet that is 50 pages long. LEGO does a wonderful job with visual directions, making a huge project much more manageable. I remember when my son first starting getting LEGO fever. He would have me “help” him because he was so unsure if he was doing it correctly. Now, after countless LEGO sets, he has the confidence that if he follows every detailed step, his creation will come out just like he planned. He has the “I can do anything” attitude from putting together so many LEGO sets. It is amazing to watch their little hands, the concentration with the tongue sticking out just so and their pride after completing the project.
There are so many educational toys for children out there today. Don’t overlook LEGOs. They offer education to your children all on their own. So don’t forget to get your child a LEGO education for Christmas!
