Everyone loves Cheesecake- well at least everyone in our house!
Gourmetgiftbaskets.com sent me this amazing New York Chocolate Fudge Cheesecake! I can’t even begin to tell you how amazing it tastes! One thing I thought would be fun is to get creative with cheesecake toppings. What is your favorite topping? After you read mine, you might change your mind!

New York cheesecake looks great, but we’ve decided to dress it up a bit. We’ve taken the same classic cheesecake and added rich chocolate. Our smooth, creamy New York Cheesecake is topped with a thick layer of gooey fudge, creating a decadent dessert that is sure to please.
One fun way to try new toppings for your cheesecake is to set up a Cheescake Topping Bar! Here are my top Five favorite toppings that are a must in my house!
- Berries- Strawberries, blueberries, rasperries, cherries- all of these are amazing on cheesecake. It’s super easy to make a berry topping. You can either use canned pie filling or just mix your berries with a little sugar and you’re done!
- Salted Caramel Sauce- Here is an easy topping- you can buy it already made, or melt down your own caramel candies and salt it to taste.
- Chocolate Sauce- There are so many chocolate sauces out there, I would just pick up your favorite at your local grocery store.
- Apple Cinnamon Sauce- You could use apple pie filling and add some cinnamon, or you can make your topping from scratch with apples, sugar, cinnamon.
- Pineapple Sauce- Go HERE to find a great recipe for this yummy sauce.
And of course, I would try any combination of the above!
