Make your own delicious homemade yogurt at home easily with Belle+Bella!
About Belle+Bella
Belle+Bella revolutionized home yogurt making with the Yogomagic yogurt maker in 1967. The Yogomagic was a simple and easy way to make delicious yogurt at home. Since then, they have now designed a newer version of their at home yogurt maker – YoMagic. From home yogurt making products to probiotic formulas, Belle+Bella works hard to ensure every product not only meets industry standards, but their high family standards as well.
Yogurt has become a staple in our home. Primarily Greek yogurt because of the high protein and low fat qualities. Our yogurt habit has become very expensive. We purchase at least a quart a week, and still run out before grocery day.
When I ran across Belle+Bella YoMagic yogurt maker, I knew immediately that I must try it! I determined if I could make my own yogurt at home I would never run out again!
YoMagic is easy to use. It comes with an instruction manual that explains how the automatic yogurt maker works. It gives you step by step instructions on how to make dairy or non dairy yogurt varieties.
Included with your YoMagic, you will find two boxes of Belle+Bella non-dairy Yogurt starter. The yogurt starter is non-gmo with 2 billion live cultures. There are no preservatives or additives and you can use it with any type of milk or non milk ie: almond milk, coconut milk, etc.
To make delicious smooth dairy yogurt, I measured 4 cups of milk in a pot. Boiled it until it reached 180 degrees F. Then, I allowed it to cool to 108 degrees F. Once cooled, I put one packet of non-dairy yogurt starter in the milk and stirred. Lastly, I poured the mixture into the YoMagic container, placed it into YoMagic body, sealed the lid and it was ready to start! For non-dairy recipes, there are also step-by-step instructions. You’ll even find tips for getting the consistency that you’re used to.
It took me 2 times to get my yogurt juuussst right. The second time I incubated it for 12 hours instead of 10. When YoMagic shuts off it will alert you that it is finished. Reach inside and take the container out of the body and place in the fridge to cool.
I added fresh strawberries to my plain yogurt. Was it good? I thought so. But, the real test was the kids! My pickiest eater – my 10 yr old son asked for some. He made a bowl and added a little sugar. (He knows I’m a sugar free mama.) To my delight, he ate it all and said, “It was good!”
If you’re a mom (or dad) who likes to save money, this will be perfect for you! One box of Belle+Belle non-dairy yogurt starter makes 4 batches of yogurt = 4 quarts for the price of buying one quart at the grocery store! Find all of your favorite Belle+Bella products here.
